The current owners, Yasemin and Bekir Yenerer, purchased the mansion in 2015, saving it from collapse and returning it to its original condition over two years of restoration. They lived in it until 2022 when it became a beautiful accommodation in this timeless, silk-road city. It’s garden separates itself from the general crowd of the city and provides the opportunity to relax in a beautiful landscape. Originally built in traditional Ottoman style in 1880 by the Özentürk family, well-known artists of the period, the mansion consists of a large independent middle hall, bathroom and two rooms on the first floor each with a fireplace and 2 authentic built-in wardrobes. On the 2nd floor, there is an independent entrance, bathroom, kitchen and a large middle hall with two rooms and double beds. The large garden is graced with fruit trees such as plum, hazelnut, apple, cranberry, cherry, mulberry, grape, as well as pine species and ornamental plants. Mudurnu's largest, green and grass garden belongs to this mansion. There is also an authentic oven in the mansion with all the original materials, tools and equipment. Adjoining the mansion, you can also stay in an authentic Mudurnu house with a veranda and 2 bedrooms, a large living room, kitchen and bathroom, with one door opening to the street and the other to the garden. Single use plastic is discouraged, while safety and health measures are carefully observed, including fire extinguishers and phone numbers for emergencies. Welcome to our restored home and the slow-city of Mudurnu!
